Call for Artists
Sub Rosa, a new independent gallery and creative incubator in Cecil County, is now accepting submissions for its 2025–2026 exhibition season. The gallery is seeking bold, thoughtful, experimental work from artists across all disciplines — painting, sculpture, installation, photography, textile, new media, sound, performance, and cross-disciplinary practices.

Sub Rosa was created as a platform for emerging and mid-career artists, as well as established voices looking to push into new territory. The space is dedicated to work that challenges, questions, investigates, and sparks dialogue — contemporary art that isn’t afraid to take risks.

Artists of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply, especially those whose work has been historically underrepresented in traditional gallery spaces. Regional artists working between Baltimore, Philadelphia, Delaware, and the broader Mid-Atlantic are strongly encouraged
